MAMA EMMA ALICE AWUOR OUMA

In acceptance of God’s will, we announce the untimely death of Mama Emma Alice Awuor Ouma.

She was the daughter of the late Mzee Peter Walala Obilo and Mama Leah Atieno of Alego Mur Kochieng.’

She was a sister of Daniel Opondo, Harun Oduor and Elisha Juma Obilo (all late).

She was the beloved wife of Charles Ouma and a doting mother of Anne Adhiambo, Job Ochola and Andrew Nyanjom. She was mother-in-law of Mariko Omondi and Agness Nyanjom.

Her grandchildren include David, Eva, Thaddeus, the late Emma, Joyce and Emmanuel. Her great-grandchildren include Ann, Meshack, Grace, Maggie, Anne, Felix, Miles and Elizabeth.

She was the daughter-in-law of Jakobo Ochola and Dinah Adhiambo (late) of Odeko, Uranga village, East Gem location of Siaya county.

Sister-in-law of Reuben and Joyce Ger (late), Dan (late) and Agnes and Alice Nyanjom, Yunia and James Awuor (late), Tobbit (late) and Hilda Odongo, Mary and Timotheo Dawo (late), Haggai (late) and Esther Kwenda, Ruth and Barnabas Olero (late), Mika (late) and Mary Okumu, Samuel (late) and Elizabeth Onyango, and Margaret and Job Owuor. She was also an in-law of Keziah, Julius, James,Alice, Meshack(all late) and Caleb Osawo. She was an auntie of many in the larger Nyanjom clan.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, 20.06.2024, starting at 11:00 a.m. at St John’s ACK, Pumwani.

The burial will be on Saturday, 22.06.2024, at Odeko village of the Uranga sub-location of East Gem, in Siaya county.
