MAMA ESTHER BOSIBORI MOTURI OKEMWA

We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mwalimu Esther Bosibori Moturi (Okemwa) after a short illness. An active church member of Gekomu 2 SDA Church.

Wife of the late Joseph Moturi Onkoba. Daughter of the late Francis Okemwa and the late Rebecca Abange. Daughter in-law of the late Dadayo Oreru and the late  Pauline Nyamotai.

Mother of Joyce, Fred (South Africa), the late Risper, the late Wilter, George, and Geoffrey.

Mother in-law of Evans, Robert (USA), Angela and Janet. Grandmother of Carol, Moira, Brenda, Moses, Ryan, Briana, Kylie, Emanuel, Adrian, Bella, Malakai, Graham, Shanice, Dylan, Bob Onderi among others. Sister of Ondimu, the late Nyambeki, Musa, Jeria, Ombasa, Ouru and the late Rose. Aunty of Chief Henry, Tom, Gideon, Ombogo (USA), Bob, Evans, Thomas Ototo CPC (Samburu County), Jared, Teresa, Omwancha, Jackline, Janet and George Masese.

Sister in-law of Kwamboka,Tabitha, Magret, the late Wilter Kemunto, the late Samson Oreru, Mary, the late Moraa, Henry, the late Gideon, the late Jonah, the late Joel, the late Nehemiah, the late Nyakebati, the late Nyaboke, Marita, Kwamboka, Ogongo and Mogusu.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at both Kisii (Nyataro & Kiango Homes) and Nairobi to plan her final journey. The main fundraisers will be held today Tuesday the 27th of August 2024 at All saint’s cathedral Nairobi from 5.00pm and another one in Kisii at Storm Hotel.

Mama Esther will be Interred on Friday, the 30th of August 2024 at her home in Kiango Village.
