Daughter of the late Zachariah Njeru and Elizabeth Wangechi. Loving wife of the late Mwalimu Arthur Karembu.

Doting mother of David Munene, Sarah Wanjiru, Zack Karembu, Eric Karembu, the late Margaret Wangechi, Anne Waruguru, Eddah Wambui, Nimrod Murage, Paul Njiru, Josnah Munene and Hellen Mutitu. Sister of the late Mwalimu Leornard Thatia, the late Godfrey Ngondi and Millicent Njoki.

Mother-in-love of Rose Wanjue, Peter Gachui, Mary Karembu, Dr Margaret Karembu, Col. (rtd) Nyaga, Anthony Magothe, Charles Muchai, the late Njeri, the late Wairimu, Josephat Munene and James Munene. Grandmother, great-grandmother and mentor to many.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home on Saturday 11/7/2020 at 9:00am for a funeral service and burial at her farm in Ngiriambu.
