It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family announce the death of Mama Grace Kositany of Bargiro – Getarwet Village, Bureti

Sub-county, Kericho County which  occurred on 10th April 2024 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Kipngény arap Kirui and the late Ruth Kirui.

Wife of the late Mr. Richard Kositany. Sister of the late Recho Kalya, Michael Ngény, the late Edward Ngény, the late Richard Ngény and Ednah Bor.

Loving mother of Rose Kositany Ruto, Jane Kositany Cheruiyot, Sammy Ngetich (KIRWA), Henry Ngetich, Ann Chepkwony, Davis Ngetich, Lorraine Kositany Birech,

Florance Kositany and  Sheila Kositany.

Mother-in-law of David Ruto, Dr. Peter Cheruiyot, the late Matthew Chepkwony, Edward Birech, Jacquiline Ngetich and Caroline Ngetich. She is grandmother and

great grandmother of many.

She was a daughter-in-law of the late Kositany Arap Kirwa and the late Chebobyagan Kirwa.

She is a sister-in-law of the late Kipsoi Kositany (Chemorta) the late Kiptoo Kositany of Cheplanget Village, the late Chemoigut Kositany (Kenduiywo), the late

Kimolel Kositany (Ndereba) and the late Cheptanui Taputany Cheptugen of Ziwa Eldoret.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home from 2:00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral home on Friday, 19th April 2024 at 12noon for Church service at A.I.C. Bargiro church. Thereafter, arrive home for an overnight stay.

The burial will be held at her home Bargiro-Getarwet village, Bureti Sub-County, Kericho County on Saturday, 20th April 2024 starting from 10.00am.
