It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Hannah Tabsabei Chumo of Kamochumo village, Nganaset Sub-location, Kapkatet Location, Bureti Kericho County, on Monday 11th January, 2021, at Siloam Hospital.

Daughter of the late Sugut arap Tiony and the late Tabaron Tiony of Kokwet Fortenan.

Sister of the late Taprandich Torongei (Obot Tabelyo), the late Kipkirui arap Korir (Rusa) of Kokwet, the late Tabarno Tot (Obot Koe) of Kokwet, the late Kipsigei arap Sigilai – Kokwet, Sarah Cheboo Marisin (Tata) of Senetwo and the late Agui arap Sang’ Thomas (arap Keny) of Lesirwo.

Dear wife of the late Lucas Kipruto Chumo (Kap Clerk) of Tengecha Family.

Loving mother of Rosemary Koech, Regina Boiyon, Joyce Chumo, Emily Keter, the late Abraham Ruto, Isaac Ruto (IEBC)Janet Mutai and Dominic Ruto.

Mother in-law of the late Wilbert Koech, John Boiyon, Christopher Keter, Beatrice Ruto, Betty Ruto, the late Michael Mutai and Domittilah Ruto (Co-operative Bank).

She was blessed with 35 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, Cousin of major Ngerechl, among others.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home, on Friday 22nd January, 2021, at 1.00pm for Church service at St. John ACK, Kapkatet and thereafter proceeds for an overnight vigil at her home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday 23rd January, 2021, at her home Kamochumo village, Kapkatet Location, Bureti Sub-county, Kericho County as from 10.30am.
