MAMA JENNIFER AWUOR NYABOLA

 Born: 1928 – Died: 12/05/2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mama Jennifer Awuor Nyabola.

She was born in 1928 in Dunga, to the late Johannes Madara and the late Mama Adipo Nyar Marenga. She was the wife to the late Nyabola Were of Uyoma Kagwa, and co-wife to the late Mary Anuro and Hulda Omolo Nyabola. Mama Jennifer was the mother of the late Miller Owuor, James Okeyo, Boniface Odhiambo, Steven Otieno, Esther Atieno, George Oloo, Florence, Cecilia and Peter. Others are Tobias Olang’o Nyabola, Ascar Onyango and Susan Oduor.

Mother-in-law to Janet Ayugi, Irene and the late Beatrice Owuor, Mary Owuor, Phoebe Owuor, Beatrice Okeyo and Beatrice Odhiambo. Her other daughters-in-law are Serfine Olang’o, Angeline Olang’o, and the late Jane and Elizabeth Olang’o. Loving grandmother of 25 grandchildren, including Erick Nyabola, Emily Owuor, Johannes Madara, Michael Nyabola, Edmond Nyabola, Gloria Nyabola, Diana, Rose,Akinyi, Reuben, Son, and the late Maurice Otieno and George Owuor. She leaves behind 17 great grandchildren, among them Betty, Sila, Andy, Kevin, Kayla, Miller Jr, Leon, Stephen, Caren and Janet.

The cortege leaves Bama Hospital Mortuary, Siaya on 20/05/2021.The burial will take place on 21/05/2021 in Bar Okwiri village, Bondo, presided over by the Seventh Day Adventist Magombe Church where she fellowshipped.
