We announce the death of Mama Jerusha Mokeira Angwenyi which occurred on 20th June 2024 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

She was lovely wife of the late Ezekiel Angwenyi Iturega of Kegogi Sub-Location, Nyaribari Masaba.

She was co-wife of Paulina Angwenyi and the late Mongina Angwenyi.

Daughter of the late Kinanga Orangi and Mokaya Kinanga. She was lovely mother of Chief Inspector Evans Angwenyi, Jackline, Nyanchama, Julius (KDF – MAB), Irine, Inspector G. Angwenyi and the late Robert, Mwalimu Onsembe, Nyaboke, Jeremiah, Grace, Eucabeth, Leonard, Rose, Peterson, Erick, Lilian, Felix, the late Esther and the late Samuel.

Mother in-law of Moraa, Jerusha, Catherine, Susan, Jane, Mageto, Richard, Joan and the late Tabither.

She was sister of Leah, Karani, Ontiri and the late (Gesare, Nyanchama, Masese and Makori).

She was Grandmother of Lenis, Maranga, the late Naomi, Nyanchama, Sween, Sharon, Shaheen, Naomy Stacy, Stephanie, Mokeira, Noel, Doris, Esther, Felix, Kazee, Amos, Walter and Dickson.

Aunty of the late Shem Motuka, Enock Ontiri, Kennedy Ontiri, Jacob Ombongi, Magoma Torori, Stella Machoka, Rwoti Genchabe, Charles Onwonga, Ishmail Onwonga, William Nchore, the late Charles Binyanya, Moraa Onyambu, Barongo, Priscilla, Agnes, Kwamboka Motuka, Nyabira Motuka, Kemunto Ochwangi, James Onwonga among others.

Great-grandmother of Jasmin, Ivan, Steve, Mitchelle, Cynthia, Precious and Patience. Korera of William Mankone, Josephine Kwamboka, the late Denise Oyier, Peris Nyangau, the late Mr and Mrs Trophena Mutukutu.

Prayers and meetings are being held at Kiserian, Narok and Kisii.

The cortège leaves Umash Funeral Home – Nairobi on Thusday 4th July 2024 at 8.00am for burial on 5th July 2024 at her home at Getacho Village, Kiamokama Location in Kisii County as from 9.00am.
