MAMA MARGARET MILKAH OCHIENG

It is with great sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Margaret Milkah Ochieng following a long period of illness bravely borne.

Mama Milkah was the beloved wife of Joseph Ochieng Otwoma. She was mother of Pauline Ochieng, Raphael Ochieng, Colonel Agnetta Apondi, Brenda Mbai, Bob Otwoma, Brian Ochieng and Sheila Ochieng. Mother in law of Noah Muga, Henry Joseph, JoanOdera, Joanne Wanjiru and Bisrat Aregawi.

She was daughter of the late Wilson Evita Anjili and the late Damaris Khaleji Anjili of Ebunangwe Village, Emuhaya, Bunyore East, Vihiga County and Daughter in law of the late Otwoma Owuor and the late Rispah Apondi.

Sister of the late Hellen Okwisa, Isaac Anjili, the late Anne Makokha, John Makanga and Ruth Afandi.

Sister in law of the late Julius Opala, Joshua Ondego, Livingstone Agoro, Vitalis Otieno, Dorcas Auma, Habakkuk Otuoma, Omuya Otuoma and Onduso Otuoma.

Mama Milkah was the loving grandmother of Amanda, Tyrone, Nathan, Damilola, Hawi, Hera, Theo, Sariah and Liam and a God-fearing mentor, teacher and auntie of many.

A Memorial service will be held at Winners Chapel, Adams, Nairobi, on Wednesday 29th May 2024 at 10:00am.

The Cortege departs Nairobi for her rural home on Friday 31st May 2024. The Funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 1st June 2024 at her home in Ebukhoba Village, Khushiku sub-location, Kisa Central, Khwisero, Kakamega County.

Friends and relatives are meeting dally at the family residence in Mihuti Court, on Dennis Pritt Road from 6.00 pm.

A fundraiser to help offset the hospital bill is scheduled to take place on Friday 24th May 2024 at All Saints Cathedral from 5:30pm.
