It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of mama Mercy Mukwamugo Kamundi.

Wife of the late Ignatius Kamundi. Daughter of the late M’Baruthi Rumberia and Mary Kaimbi. Sister of the late Hilda Kaari, the late Ashford Njagi, Fredrick Gitari, Kenneth Kaburu, Doreen Kanyua, Alexander Bundi, the late Evelyn Muyia, Nyaga, Riungu, Njeru, Mutegi, Kithuci, Mukwaiti, Keeru, Mboya, Gitonga and Mugo Baruthi. Mother of Catherine Kawira and Marangu, Felicity Mukami and Kinyua, Lydia Kainyu and Kariuki, Hilda Kaari and Mutembei, Oscar Kambona and Gatwiri, Edwin Kaburu and Gaceri. Grandmother of the late Martin, Kathure, Munene, Mugendi, Makena, Mukami, Joy, Kathomi, the late Murithi, Mutuma, Mark, Mwende, Mwenda, Kendi, Mutugi, Nyawira. Great-grandmother of Zemira, Zerelda and Adia.

The cortege will leave Chogoria Hospital Mortuary, on Tuesday 8th December, 2020, at 9.00am for a funeral service, at PCEA Makuri Church and thereafter burial at her farm in Makuri Village, Chogoria, Tharaka Nithi.
