Daughter of the late Oyugi Getembe and the late Nyaechi of Gesweswe village. Loving wife of the late Mogaka Ratandi. Mother of the late Ong’eta, Jemima, Priscah, the late Jones, Nyaboke, Kenanda, Nyanduko, Mary, Shem (DCI Homabay), and Bochaberi. Sister of Nyabinge, Kwamboka, Ocharo, Nyanaro, Mogita, Matunda (all late), Ndege and Ebsibah. Sister-in-law of the late Kingi, Ndubi, Nyaboga, (Moraa, Nyamokune, Nyabeta – all late), Nyang’ate, Mong’ina and Bisieri. Step mother of Anderson, Tatoka, Isaac, Kaba, and Risper. Aunt of Ratandi Ndubi, Arosi Ndubi, Fred & Leah Ondieki, Micah Ondieki, Jemima, George Nyaboga among others.

Mother-in-law of the late Joyce, Agnes, Juliet, Okeri, Agwata, Obabu, the late Ombogo, Ondieki, Christiano, Nyabuti among others. Korera of Osuma, Ekiru, Nyarega, the late Otieri, Buyange, Kiriago, the late Sibota, Omwamba, Mokua, Okello among others. Grandma of Shem Okeri, Joash Ondieki, Pengo Ombogo, Isaac Obabu, Lydia Nyabuti, Robinson Agwata, Samuel, Geoffrey, Jared, Titus, Nancy, Edna, Douglas, Stephen, Evaline, Beatrice, Doreen, Joyce, Jones, Tylan, among others. She has left behind: 52-grandchildren, 79-great grand children, 2 great great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Kinara hospital, Nyamira on 26/5/2020 for burial at her farm in Boeri-Matierio, Bonyakoni, Nyamira County on the same day.
