It is with humble acceptance of the Will of God that we announce the passing on of Mama Paustina Nyangate Obaga on Sunday 16th February 2020 at Bosongo Medical Centre.

Wife of the late Mzee Stanslaus Obaga. Daughter of the late Nyabeta and late Mosari. Mother of Sabina, Mary, Samuel, John, Teresia, Peter, Joseph, Anne, Consolata and the late Jane. Sister of Late Morangi, late Moraa Areba and Otwori Nyabeta. Mother-in-law of late Simba, Abuga, Jemimah, Lucy, Ratemo, Rachel, late Sabina, late Kiboni, Maisiba and late Nyauma. Grandmother of 49 grandchildren among them: Bosco, Hon. R. Onyinkwa, Reuben, Edna, Maurine, Oscar, Treavor, Immanuel, Kevin, Stephen, among others Inspiring Great Grandmother of 67 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grand Children – Ebichembene. Auntie of Zachy, Edward, Peter, late Andrea among others. Korera of Onteri, Mwamba, Nyatuka, Mokono, Ondande, Ogutu all late, Nyangoya, Nyamweno, late Nyamao and late Nyantika.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home.

The cortege leaves Christiana Maria Hospital mortuary on Thursday 27th Feb 2020 at 11.00am.

Funeral service and burial on 28th Feb 2020 from 9.00am at Mokoine Village, Motembe-Sub Location, Kemera-Location, Manga sub-county, Nyamira county.
