MAMA PERIS JEPCHUMBA RUTO ROTINO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Peris Jepchumba Ruto Rotino that occurred on Monday, 12th June, 2023 at 7.00am in Eldoret Hospital.

She was wife to Hon. Philip Ruto Rotino and mother to Isabella Kakuko, Faith Cherotich, Shelton Kiptoo, Mercy Chenang’at, Joan Chepatei and Charity Cheporiot.

She was loving daughter to the late Tulaa Ruto and the late Cheptoo Lomerteba Ruto.

Loving niece to Sanga Margaret.

Sister to Johnstone, Stella, the late Franklin, David, Esther, the late Kemboi,Abraham, Kamama, Selly, Phylaries Rotich.

Cousin sister to Annaline Omega, Christie Wafula, Susan, Dankan, Ronald, Collo, Paul Biwott,Tilon, Jebor, Madam Jenifer, and Pamela Kiptoo.

She was daughter-in-law to the late Mzee Solomon Rotino, the late Ko Chepowon, the late Ko Kakuko and Ko Ksang. Sister-in-law to the late Agnes, the late Bridgit, Paty, the late Mayor Andrew, Peter, Christine, Scholah, Delphine, the late Damaris, the late Kennedy, Charito, Richard, Leo, the late Purity, the late Brenda, David, Chepkite, Jackson, the late Mebo, the late Zakayo, Musto,Jane, Rotich, Chepeng’at and Chepoisho.

She leaves behind four grandchildren – Khloe, Jabali, Zuri and Noah.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Siyoi, Kapenguria, West Pokot County.

A harambee will be held on Tuesday, 20th June, 2023 at her home in Siyoi.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, 24th June, 2023.
