MAMA RODAH MUDENDE MUNDIA “ULUDAMBI”

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our matriarch, mama Rodah Mudende Mundia “Uludambi”of Bukoyani Village, Lugaga Location, Vihiga County. She was a wife of the Late Zablon Mundia, Mother of Josephine Wanjala (BGM), Emmy, Retired teachers, Mark Alusa & Moris Mundia, Bishop Timothy Mundia (KTL), Moris, Evans Mundia (GIZ-Ethiopia), Ann and Mang’are Mundia Ben (formerly of KANCO & NACC).

Step mother of Henry Mundia(KTL), Janet &late Asigo.

Mother in-law of Dr. Henry Wanjala (formerly of Kenyatta Varsity), Alice, Doris (KHRC), Gladys, Adelide and Florence. Sister of Late Jairus Alusa & Ephraim Sabali, Binnegu Silingi. Sister of Salome Vihigu (Migori).

Grandmother of Abala, Oremja, Andrew, Audrey, Sylvia, Barry, Andahi, Timina, Kevin, Chegero, Abu, Dorika, Nato, Edi, Sharon, Daisy, Amanda among others. An aunt of the late Fred Mulusa, Late Hudson Boge, George Alusa, Winnie Alusa, late Edith Alusa, Grace Lumadi, Susan, Pastor Samuel Odindo, Francis Silingi among other relatives.

The cortege leaves St. Monica Hospital Morgue, Kisumu on Friday 23rd August 2024 for a church service at Roho Bethel Church followed by night vigil on Saturday. She will be laid to rest at her home on Sunday 25th August, 2024 after a funeral service that will be held at Matagalu Primary, School.
