It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mama Rosemary Natecho Simiyu (Formerly of United Tours Company) and Chairperson of Genpro EA Ltd who rested peacefully on 21/11/2021.

Beloved wife of late Papa Eng. Joseph Simiyu. Daughter of the late Mzee Alfayo Wekesa and Mama Martha Nanyama Wekesa. Daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Christopher Mukhamule and late Mama Timina Mukhamule. Mother of Eng. Catherine Gitonga (UN-Uganda), Chris Mukhamule (KRA), Linda Nafula, Noel Wekesa and Maureen Brassat all of (Germany), and Felistus Simiyu (Nakwana Sec. School) and Kate Simiyu.

Grandma to Nicole and Joan, Rosemary, Tom, Abigael and Jason. Sister of Samson, late Teresa, Sikuku, Meck, late Nyongesa, Juma, Dr. Margaret Makelo (KALRO), Peter, late Toni, Alice, Susy, Apollos, Zeka, Dr. Simiyu, Sichangi, Grace, Anne, Stella, late James, Juma, Jack, Lydia, Harriet, Ruth and Dick. Sister in law of Naliaka, late Wabwoba, Makhanu, Late Okumu, Late Masika, Nafuna, Mary, Margaret and Late Tominico. Mother-in-law to Eng. Francis Angaine (UN-Italy) and Mary Katenya (Interior CNG).

In-laws to H.E Kenneth Lusaka (Speaker of the Senate), Geoffrey Wamalwa, John and Janet Angaine and Sellah Katenya. She is a niece to Ronald Chwala and grand-daughter to the late Lucas Watta.

The cortege leaves Montenzuma Funeral Home on Thursday 02 December 2021 for her home in Makutano, Kanduyi, Bungoma County. The final funeral service will be held on Friday, 03 December 2021 at her Kanduyi Home, at 10.00am.
