It is with great sadness we announce the death of Mama Rusalina Anyango Otieno, which happened on 19th November, 2021.

Daughter of the late Otieno Masogo and the late Teresia Rayola. Sister of the late Adera Jim Otieno, the late Vincent Ochieng Otieno, the late Jeremiah Awuonda Otieno, the late Mama MaceIla, the late mama Plista, Mama Brigitta Ochanda, the late Mama Lyda Orifa Otieno and the late Lewninda Otieno. Step-sister of the late Josiah Achola Otieno and Laja.

Mother of Steve Okinyi, the late Michael Omondi, Thomas Okong’o, the late Jane Aoko Odhiambo, Anna Auma Owuoto and Paul Okoth. Mother-in-law of the late Alice Ayodo, Joyce Odhiambo, Evaline Okong’o, George Odhiambo, Herricus Oguok and Beatrice Mapesa. Auntie Of Charles Adera, John JC, Mary Kanindo, julita Akinyi, Christine Apondi, Otis Awuonda, Apati, Ogweno, Oginga Achola, Hari, Ramoni, among others.

Mourners are meeting daily at her Kokuro home.

The cortege will be removed from Rosewood Nursing Home – Rongo on Wednesday 15th December, 2021, for a memorial service at Ranen ACK Church. Burial will be on Thursday 16th December, 2021, at her Kokuro home, from 10.00am.
