MAMA WILFRIDA MARITA ORANGA

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mania Wilfrida Marita Oranga, that occurred on 2nd January, 2022.

Daughter of the late Mzee Paulo Omutimba and Mama Veronica Namayi. Beloved wife of Hon. Peter Washiali Oranga (Former Kitale Mayor). Sister of the late Gerald Munyendo, the late Gabriel Chuma, Akwanalo Mangarita, Nasiche and Clementina Kanyanya.

Loving mother of the late Francis Likhayo, the late Patrick Anekeya, Dr. Beldinah Otieno Musumba, the late Rose Kanenje, Chritantus Mayo Oranga, Fr. James Oranga, Mary Stella Chitechi, Pauline Otieno, Carolyne Namwaya, the late Josephat Orembo, Daniel Mukolwe, Henry Mwanga and Wenselaus juma. She was stepmother of Michael Wanga, Hellen Mbati, Judith Namwaya, the late Elizabeth Maloba, George Kizito, Paulo Indakwa, Emmanuel Wabuti and John Masinde.

She is survived with 40 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She leaves behind a number of nephews and nieces.

Mama Wilfrida will be laid to rest on Tuesday, 11th January, 2022 at her home in Emulambo, Village, East Wanga Location, Murnias East Sub county, Kakamega County.
