MAMA WILKESTER AWINO OBUDHO OJOO

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved, Mama Wilkester Awino Obudho Ojoo, cherished wife of Mzee Joseph Obudho Ojoo.

Loving mother of Emily, Dorothy, Lucie, Sylvia, Josephine, Rodi, Annabel, Debbie, Steve, Victoria, Ojoo and the late Tom and Ronald. Daughter of the late Zephaniah and Yuanita Raduma and step-daughter to Deborah and Agnes Raduma of Kano Ombeyi, Kamagaga; daughter-in-law to the late Jacob Ojoo and Monica Yongo; sister to Grace, Phoebe, Harriet, Gordon, Josephine, Paul Joash and others (all late); neice to the Omores and cousin to the Oyandos and the Ojwangs.

Sister-in-law to Michael Opata, Benjamin Odero, Janet Oyugi, Mathlida Obondo, Jane Nyambeka, John Onimbo; and the late Patricia Otwal, Magdalena Ogango and Joshua Apiyo. She was mother-in-law to Anthony Massawa, the late George Owino, Chris Odwesso, Mary Atieno, Patricia Alberth, Tom Mboya and Theresa Oduor. Loving Aunt to Ajulu, Barbara, Kotonya and the late Nelly and Millie, amongst others and doting grandmother of 22 and great grandmother of 2.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Osomoge Farm, Goma, Utonga sub-location, Bondo sub-county.

The Cortege will leave Avenue Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu, on Saturday 16th October 2021 for Bondo and the burial service will be held at 9.30am at her home in Osomoge Farm, where she will be laid to rest.
