It is with humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the death of Mama Yunuke Kerubo Matini (Omwalimu) of Ibencho Village, Bosoti Sengera Ward, Bomachoge Chache, Kisii County on 5/08/2024 at the ABM Specialist Hospital Nairobi due to illness, bravery fought. Daughter of the late Akoya Masea and the late Loice Biyaki. Wife of the late Matini Mochama.

Mother of the late Salome, the late Sibia, Daniel (NCG), the late Mary, Esther, Kembero (KSL), Susan (G4S) and Mochama (MEX).

Sister of the late Orenge, Moraa, James Akoya (Frm MD NSSF), Nyansiaboka, Sarange, Monyenche and Dan Akoya (Coop bank). Mother In-law of Catherine, Pentila (NCG), Teresa, Rose (KenGen), Mesesi, Ogango, Moses Ochwando (Kenindia) and John. Sister in-law of the late Onyancha, the late Ombati, Ayiecha, Ayunga, the late Kimonge, Okemwa, Samuel Omwega, the late Nyarumi, the late Moraa among others. Aunt of Michael, Hon. Lazarus Onyancha, Nahashon (USA), Otondi, Penuel, Samuel Manono, Sibia, Martin Maera, Ayiecha, Ayub, Tom, Kim, Emmah, Kwamboka, Agnes, Clinton, Jackline, Annah, Change, Kennedy among others.

Family and friends are meeting at Professional Centre on Tuesday, 20/08/2024 5.00pm for the main fundraising.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday 22/08/2023 for her rural home in Ibencho, Bosoti Sengera Ward, Bomachoge Chache, Kisii County. Burial will be on Friday, 23/08/2024.
