MANASSEH MUTUA KITONYI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mwalimu Manasseh Mutua Kitonyi on 26th February 2022.

He was the son of the late Rev. Philip Kitonyi and the late Mary Itumbi Kitonyi.

Husband to Rhoda Mbithe Mutua and devoted father to the late Esther Muloko, Bernard Mutisya, the late Benson Soi, Jane Henry, Janet Itumbi, Farida Mueni, Joyce Katile, Jacqueline Ndunge, Cynthia Mwende, the late Charles and David Muuo.

Brother of the late Lydia Simu, the late Phoebe Munguti, the late Prof. Joseph Kitonyi, Pastor Beth Nduku Kamende, Rev. Kavula John and the late David Kavita. Brother-in-law of the late Paul Simu, Edward John, Dilom Munguti, the late Philip Kamende, Prof. Grace Kitonyi and Grace Mueni. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kithunguini.

The funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday 5th March, 2022 at AIC Kithunguini at 10.30am. The burial will take place thereafter at his home.
