MARGARET ABUOR OCHIENG’

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Margaret Abuor Ochieng’ after a short illness bravely borne.

Daughter of the late Mzee Ezekiel Okidi Ongiri and the late Mama Doris Atieno Okidi. Mother of Dorothy Ochieng (KEFRI), Susan Mukengezi (UK), Bill Odidi (KBC), Liz Okomba (NCBA Bank), Mariah Aloo (Alibaba Group) and Sabinah Ngugi (UK).

Sister of the late Jotham Kabasa Okidi, the late Prof Charles Odidi Okidi, the late Serafin Okombo, Pamela Adhiambo, the late Reuben Opon Okidi, and the late Michael Ouma Okidi. Sister-in-law of the late Elizabeth Kabasa, Monica Akinyi Kabasa, Doreen Okidi, Adhiambo Lomo, Tereza Opon Okidi and Monica Auma Okidi.

Mother-in-law of jack Maina and Peter Ngugi. Grandmother of Gabriel Madueke, Jabari Maina, Ryan Ngugi and Ciaran Ngugi. An aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are meeting at 6pm daily at her residence in Uhuru Gardens, Phase 2, House C43, for prayers.

The funeral arrangements will be communicated later.
