It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Margaret Lavender Atieno on 8th February 2020 at Aga Khan University Hospital.

Beloved wife of Dr. David O. Awange of School of Dental Sciences, University of Nairobi. Loving mother of Ishmael Omondi, Beldine Achieng, Mercy Aluoch and Jessica. Daughter-in-law of the late Japuonj Ishmael Awange and the late Beldine Angala. Daughter of the late Martin Riaroh, Martin Opile, Willis OsWanyo, jonam Aluni and Trufosa Riaroh, the late Pamela Abuto, Mary Oswanyo and Erina Adongo all of Kisumu Karateng. Sister of Don Riaroh, Beth Tanga, Margaret Ariwi, Milton Otieno, Robert Owino, Nickson Okota, Dorine Auma among others.

Harambee to defray the medical bill and funeral expenses will held on Saturday 15th February 2019 at Norwich Union House Opposite Hilton Hotel from 4:00pm and at her residence in Utawala off Mihango Road at Green Court-Springfield estate everyday.

Burial date to be announced later.
