It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Margaret Wairimu Thongori.

Loving wife to the late Joseph Gikandi Thongori

Daughter to the late Simon Njugu Njoroge and the late Jerioth Wamuyu Njugu.

Beloved Sister to the late Njoroge, the late John Gathogo, the late Lucy Wangari, Joseph Njoroge, Irene Wanjiru, the late Gathiya and Nelly Ngima Gathuma.

Mother to Jane Macharia, John Thongori, Patrick Thongori, the late Tom Thongori and the late Hellen Thongori.

Mother-in-law to Gideon Macharia, Judy Thongori and Maryanne Njugu.

Sister-in-law to the late Timothy Karaya, the late James Kaniaru, the late Peter Ruchuyia, Mary Wairimu Karuri, Njoki Gathogo, Wanjiku Njoroge and Ephraim Gathuma.

Grandmother to Vicky, Lisa, John, Eric, Tracy, Brian, lvy and Helen, lvy Karaya and Tiffany. Great Grandmother to Sophia Wangari.

Family and friends will meet on Tuesday, 14th November, 2023 & Wednesday, 15th November, 2023 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00pm.

There will be a Requiem Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, along Uhuru Highway at 12.00pm on Thursday, 16th November, 2023.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday 17th November, 2023 at 10.00am, at Kimondo Parish Church – Nyeri. Thereafter, the burial will take place at the family home.
