MARIA WANGARI GICHAGUA (MAMA SONNIE)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Maria Wangari Gichagua (Mama Sonnie). Daughter of Herman Waithaka and Margaret Merl of Kabati Village- Kipipiri Constituency.

Beloved wife of John Gichagua Wanjohi (Director, Sonic Constrution Ltd). Mother of Moureen Muthoni (Sonic Company Ltd) and Nick Wanjohi (Pioneer School). Daughter in law of Tabitha Muthoni Wanjohi of Geta Ward- Kipipiri Constituency. Sister of Phyllis Waithera (Canada), the late Frashiah Nyambura, Moses Murimi and Jeremiah Ngugi. Sister in law of the late Francis Wambugu, Mary Chege, Rahab Wang’ombe, Hannah Wairimu, Paul Wanjohi, Wang’ombe Wanjohi, David Wanjohi and Peter Wanjohi. She was an auntie and grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at Royal Gardens Olkalou and their home at Olkalou Home opposite JM Kariuki Hospital (Sheba) and Jiret Farm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home —Nakuru on Saturday 18/7/2020 at 8.00 am and thereafter the burial will be held at their home in Jiret Farm in Gatondo Location-Wanjohi Ward – Kipipiri Constituency, Nyandarua County.

 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have kept the faith. Rest in Peace.
