MARIE BLAK ACHIENG

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Marie Blak Achieng, beloved daughter of Dr. Blak Otieno Aende and Gloria Moraa Nyariki, and step-daughter of Joslyne Kenik.

She was the cherished grand daughter of Dr. Benard Ogada and the late Mary Aende, and the late George Nyariki and Rebecca Nyariki.

Family and friends will be meeting on Thursday, 1st August, at 5:00pm at Chel’C Restaurant, Green Park Terminus (formerly Luna Park, opposite Uhuru Park).

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 7th August, at 10:00am at CITAM ­Embakasi.

A fundraising event will follow on the same day, Wednesday, 7th August, at 5:00 pm at Chel’C Restaurant, Green Park Terminus. On Friday, 9th August,

Marie’s body will leave for Kisumu for burial.

May peace be upon Marie’s soul.
