MARITHA NYAMBEGA ONDURU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of Gideon Onduru announces the promotion to glory of Mama Maritha Nyambega Onduru which occurred on Wednesday 9th September, 2020, at Kendu Adventist Hospital (Gendia Hospital).

She was the daughter of the late Japuonj Samuel Ade and the late Mama Rael Ambogo Ade. Her brothers were the late Solomon, the late John, the late Kepha and Francis. She was sister to the late Norah, the late Herrinah and Monica. Mama was the wife to the late Gideon Onduru and mother to the late Hellen Illa, the late Pastor Eiphas Mbeche Onduru, Susan Otieno, Joyce Otieno and Dr. Timothy Onduru (Moi University).

She was the Mother-in-Law to Sarah Mbeche, Jane Ayieko, Colleta, Jeniffer, Sarah and others. She was the grandmother to Samuel Mbeche, Onduru Gideon Ayieko, Joshua Rume, Gideon Mbeche and others. She was the co-wife to Rosalina, Prisca and the late Tabitha. Her brothers-in-law were the late Selemia and the late Ibrahim. Her step-sons are Pastor Edward Onduru, Richard Otieno, Shadrack Onduru, Samuel Ade, Daniel, Jairus, Bishop Benard Ondiek, Kennedy, Ignatius and others. She was mother-in-law to the late Illa, the late Micah, Joash Otieno and Dr. John Nyakado.

The burial will take place on 21st September, 2020 at Wachara Village, South Kanyaluo location, Rachuonyo North, Homabay County.
