Sunrise:17th September 1976 – Sunset:7th July 2020

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the sudden death of our beloved son Mark Muriithi Mathenge on 7th July 2020. Mark was a long-term resident of Lower Woodley (Joseph Kangethe Estate) in Nairobi, and a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at the Splash Waterworld Amusement Park located off Lang’ata Road.

He was the son of the late Beth Wabera Ngetha, and the nephew to Charity Kirigo Kimani, Lucy Muna, Gilbert Ndiritu, Duncan Ngatia Mathenge, and Richard Mwea.

He was a quiet and gentle person who won loyal friends with ease due to his kind disposition.

He will be buried in Buguret, Nanyuki on Monday, 13th July 2020. Due to the complications to burial logistics brought on by the official measures against the COVID- 19 pandemic, the funeral will be limited to family members and the closest friends. We request friends to please get in touch through the Facebook page (RIP Mark Muriithi Mathenge) established to commemorate Mark. Use it to share photos you took with him and your phone and email contacts to enable continuing communication with the family. More details on burial plans will be shared on the Facebook page (link: https://bit.ly/2ZRRCrd).

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. May Mark Rest in Everlasting Peace till the sacred day we all meet again in joyous reunion.
