MARTHA MONYANCHA ASETA

We regret to announce the death of Martha Monyancha Aseta, which occurred on Friday 22nd January 2021 at Janice Cholerton medical and Cancer Hospital, Nairobi after a long illness.

Beloved wife to Mark Aseta (Achari Omariba), daughter to the late Salome Kwamboka and late Jacob Mokoro Osano in Bomobea, Keroka. Daughter in-law to the late Pacificus Omariba and late Cicilia Birundu; and step daughter in-law to Regina Nyanchoka and the late Maria Nyaboke. Mother to Jerald Orina, late Bernadette Aseta,Antony Ooga, late Jacob Mokoro, Calvin Gitanga, late Emmanuel Aseta, Alice Kwamboka and Mary Kemunto. Mother in-law to Jane Gesare, Phanice Mwangodosephine Mboga, Samuel Ombicha and Felix Mainda. Grandmother to Diana, Clinton, Maurice, Bridget, Chris, Martha, Emmanuel, Faustina, Vivian, Felicity, Jeremiel, Raphael, Michael, Mediatrix, Tashline, Bernadette and Isaac.

Great-grandmother to Liam and Taji. Korera to: Kabuna Mosirigwa and the late Esther Nyanchama, Daniel Bogonko and Jane Gesare; Jeremiah Ombicha and the late Mary Moraa Ombicha; David Mainda and Eunice Kwamboka. Sister to late Okindo, late Sagwe, late Onduso, late Mosoti, late Osano, late Ombaba, late Monari, late Ongioa, late Amima, late Gesure, late Monyancha Aseta Gekonge, late Mogotu, late Nyambeki, late Kwamboka, late 1954 – 2021 Nyakerario, late Nyaltuga, late Nyankomba, late Nyabokes, late Nyamusi, Nicodemus Mosongo, John Kimang’a and Isabela. Sister in-law to Nyakundi,Ambrose, Gichana, Richard, Gesare, Margret, late Akenga, Julius, Ndemo, late Ooga, Kemunto, Alexina, Jane, Moige, Ruth, Monica, Mary and late Anne.

The cortege will leave Umash funeral home on Thursday the 4th of February for overnight vigil at her home in Rikenye village, Marani sub county, where burial will take place on Friday the 5th of February 2021.
