MARTHA NYAKIO KIMANI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Martha Nyakio Kimani on Friday 8th October 2021 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Benson Gathieya and Josephine Thuiya Gathieya. Spouse of Francis Kimani Kiguru. Mother of Muthoni Jorgenson, Carolyn Nungari, Christine Wambui and Joe Kiguru. Mother-in-law of Mark Jorgenson. Grandmother of Brian, Wanjiru, Nyakio, Nungari and twins Kimani and Nyakio.

Sister of Late Simon Mutura, George Thairu, Lucy Gathoni, Late Joseph Njau, George Kamau, Late Christopher Kinyanjui, Agnes Wangechi and Mary Wairimu. She was Sister-in-law of J.R. Njenga, Wambui Muturi, John Karume, Late Patrick Wanjema, Late Stephen Munge, Peter Kiguru and late Joseph Gituru.

Funeral meetings and prayers are being held daily at their Kiriiyu home, Kiambaa, Kiambu County at 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching Research and Referral Hospital Mortuary (Northern Bypass) on Friday 15th October 2021 at 9:00am for a funeral service at St Patricks Catholic Church Kiambaa starting at 11:00am and internment thereafter, at their Kiriiyu home.
