MARTHA WAMBUI CHEGE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Martha Wambui Chege on Saturday, 11/12/2022.

She was the mother to Mary Wangari (Germany) and Elizabeth Wanjiru (USA). Mother-in-law to Githogori Murage. Grandmother to Murage Wanjiru Githogori, Chege Wanjiru Githogori and Anita Wambui Wangari.

Daughter of the late Joseph Chege and Mariamu Wangari of Kirenga Village Lari. Sister to Margaret Wangui Turuthi, the late Noah Karogi, Elizabeth Wanjiru Gatonye, Isabella Mugure, Joshua Ngugi, Asaph Njuguna, Esther Wanja,Willy Gitau and Ruth Wanjiku. Step-sister to Gladwell Muthoni, Nancy Wanja, the late Elizabeth Wanjiru Kuria, Noah Karogi, Margaret Nyambura Gidraph, Martha Wambui Mburu and Joshua Ngunyi. Sister-in-law and an adorable aunt to many.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Wednesday, 21/12/2022 at 8.00am. The burial ceremony will be held at Nashepa Gardens Matasia Ngong starting from 11:00am. The body will be laid to rest at her residence in Matasia Ngong.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Matasia home for prayers and burial arrangements.
