Death and Funeral Announcement of Martha Wangechi Kimani

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mum Martha Wangechi Kimani (MarthaSam) which occurred on 18th March, 2020 after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Godfrey Gichimu and the late Monica Wanjiru of Kiangunyi Village, Kangema in Murang’a. Loving wife of Samwel Kimani Njemba. Mother of Godfrey Gichimu, Jane Wambui, Peter Mwangi, Andrew Macharia, George Ngundo, Kenneth Kaunda, Moses Kiai and Monica Wanjiru. She is a Mother-in-law, Aunt, Grandmother and Great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Garden Estate, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 25th March 2020 at 7.00am. Funeral service will be done the same day at Kiangunyi Catholic Church in Kiangunyi, Kangema, Murang’a County. Funeral service and burial will be held at Gakira, opposite Gakira Secondary School in Kangema, Murang’a County.
