Sorrowfully, we announce the death of Mr. Martin Mutwiri Murwithania (Former Principal, Kanyakine High School).

Husband to Lucy MutWiri (Luma Girls).

He was son to the late Mr. Samson M’Murwithania (Mutethia) and the late Nanis Kirigo; son in law to the late Joseph Magambo and the late Salome Kanyua.

Father to Caroline Makena, Martin Kinoti, oe Kiogora and Annette Kiogora. Grandfather to Martin Mwirigi Kiogora, Amira Nkatha Kinoti, George Muthomi Kiogora and Mark Kinoti Kiogora.

Brother to the late Jennifer Nkirote & Mwirigi, Karimi & Nkoroi, Gituma Murwithania, Mworia & Catherine, Kimathi and Gakii, Muchai and Daphne, Mbaabu & Kinanu and Kinoti & Kagwiria.

Brother-in-law to William Gatobu, Evangeline Muguna, Joseph Kibiti, Nancy Kanana, and many other step siblings He was uncle and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way, Nairobi on Tuesday 26th September 2023, for burial at his Kiurandegwa Farm, Maritati, Timau.

Meetings are being held at Meru, Westwind Hotel, Kibirichia, St Peters Church Opp Luma girls, Timau, Kiurandegwa Farm (Mutwiri’s farm), Nairobi, Labaita Lounge Upperhill and Nkubu, Joycem Plaza starting from 5.00P.M.

A memorial service and fundraiser to help offset the bills will be held at the St Peters Methodist Church Langata on Sunday 24th Sept 2023, starting 4.00p.m. Contributions towards the burial can be made through Paybill Number; 891300 :Account name; Mutwiri.
