MARTIN OTIENO GILBERT

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Martin Otieno Gilbert.

Son of the late Gilbert Apodo Akudo and Martha Apodo. Son in-law of Margaret Mukuhi Muya and the late Fredrick Muya Gitua. Husband of Anne Wangari Otieno. Brother of Sarah Randiki, Mary Malaba, James Akudo, Jackson Odhiambo, Betty Gathigia and Christine Ajwang. Brother-in-law of the late Joseph Randiki, Rev. David Malaba, the late Muthoni Akudo, Janet Odhiambo, the late Peter Muchami, the late Julius Kamau, the late Rahab Wanjiru, the late Elizabeth Nyambura, Charity Ng’onga, Lilian Njuguna, Josephine Kamau, Grace Chege , Rufus Njuguna, Francis Ng’onga and Paul Chege. He was also an Uncle of many.

Father of Margaret Otieno, Martha Otieno, Sarah Otieno and Charity Otieno. Grandfather of Stephen Thiga, Martin Matiba and Ilan Matiba. Father in-law of Johnson Mwaura.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Umoja 2 Estate, PCEA Unity Church Umoja Nairobi and Gichungo village Olkaluo Silent Scheme for prayers and burial preparation.

There will be a Memorial service on Wednesday 28/10/2020 at PCEA Unity Church Umoja2 at 4pm.

The cortege leaves North Kinangop Hospital Mortuary (Kwa Ng’othi) Friday 30/10/2020 (9am) followed by the funeral service and burial at their home in Gichungo village Olkalau Silent Scheme at (11am).
