It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Mary Akwirry Dibo Ochola of UN-HABITAT.

Daughter of the late Japheth Dibo Akwiri & the late Kesia Nuridu Dibo of Ungas-Kager (Kanyango). Loving wife of Francis Wilfred Ochola. Mother of Kwame Miyai & Dr Cornelia Ochola. Grandmother of Nana, Nathan and Sifa. Mother in law of Dr Stephen Omondi.

Sister of the late Alicia, Christine, the late Lorna, the late Peter, Merab, Andrew & Miriam.

Sister in law of Mathew, the late Jonam, Prof Oduor Okelo, Ann, Wycliffe, Monica, Lucy, Philip, Nicholas, the late Stephen, the late Charles, Joseph, George,Victor, Richard, Mary, Rose, Florence, Josephine, Anastasia and others.

The thanksgiving prayers will be at CITAM Ngong on 29th October 2020 from 11.00 am – 1.00 pm. There will be an opportunity after the requiem mass to pay one’s last respect to her at Umash Funeral Home.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home for Migori on 30th October 2020 at 5.00 am. Funeral service and burial will be on 31st October 2020 at her home In Oruba, Migori.

There shall be a funds drive at All Saints Cathedral today, Tuesday 27th October 2020, from 4.00 pm.
