Daughter of the Late Simeon Wanyaga & Lucina Mithayo. Wife to Simeon Mwangi Koigi. Cherished mother to Charles Koigi, Elizabeth Nyambura, Dr. Simon Mwangi, Lucina Njeri & Francis Mwai. Grandmother to Anthony, Esther, Kevin, Christine, Moses, Richard, Rosemary, Maryann, Robert, Elizabeth, Ronald, Winnie, Rosemary. Great-grandmother to Five (5) Angels. Sister to the Late John Baptista Wachania, the Late Fiorina Ndiritu, Regina Baru, the Late Nazarena Mureithi, Priscilla Wanyaga, Joyce Ndirangu & Immaculate Wanyaga. Mother-in-law to Jane Koigi and Anne Mwai. Sister-in-law to the Late Hon. Morris Mwai, the Late Murugi, the Late Wambugu & the Late Charles Wachira, Mrs Agatha Wachania, the Late Jonah Ndiritu, the Late Joseph Baru & the Late Eliud Ndirangu. Auntie to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 23rd September 2020 at 7.00 a.m. for her resting place at Kaheti Village, Muyu Location, Mukurweini Sub-County. Requiem Mass will be held at Kaheti Catholic Church at 10.00 a.m.
