It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mary Gathoni Kamuru of PCEA Langata Church which occurred on Wednesday the 23rd June 2021 following a Massive Stroke. Until her passing she was a Retired Civil Servant in the Ministry of Co-operatives.

A loving Wife of Retired Elder Philip Kamuru Muchomba. Beloved daughter of the Late Francis Kibui and Peris Wandia. Devoted Mother of Sylvia Kamuru, Jennifer Okumu, Catherine Moxjackline Muriuki, James Muchomba and Grandmother to Joy Gathoni. Sister of Grace Tate Harte, Julius Kinyua, Nelson Matimu and the Late Livingston Murage.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Langata Ngei II Estate House No. 132 from 5pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The burial will take place on Wednesday 30/06/2021 at Kanjuri village, Gatei Sub-location, Magutu Location, Mathira Sub-County, Nyeri County from 10.00am. Cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Nairobi at 7.00am.

Funeral rites shall comply with MOH Covid- 19 guidelines.
