MARY KABURA KIMANI (WA NJORE)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance from God that we announce the demise of our family matriarch who rested peacefully at St. Jude Hospital, Gatundu on Sunday June 23rd 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Jonah Kimani Wambaa and co-wife of Esther Ng’onyo Kimani.

Daughter of the late Njore Muoho and late Serah Wamweru.

Sister of the late Kimani Njore, the late Wanjiru Kamamo, the late Esther Njeri Kago, Peter Mburu and Wakili Macharia Njore among others.

A much-loved mum of Lucy Wangari and Francis Kibathi, Moses Njore and Mary Njeri, the Late Martha Wanjiru and Late Pithon Kigoi, Zachary Ndungu and Grace Ndungu (Kings and Queens Academy – Mwihoko), Margaret Waceke, Peter Kimata and Margaret Njoki, Ann Wamaitha and Nahashon Gichuru and Charles Mwangi and Irene Wanjiku.

She was also mother of Waceke and Ndirangu, Wanjiku, Wamaitha and Gatonye, the Late Jeremy and Late Florence, Margaret and Eng. Maina, and Lucy.

Grandmother of the Jonah’s, the Kabura’s, the Ndungu’s, the Ng’onyo’s and many others. Also, great grandmother of many.

Funeral Service will be held at PCEA Ndarugu Church, Karatu starting at 10.00am, on Saturday June 29th 2024 followed by burial at her farm in Mururia, Karatu Village.
