It is with deep sorrow that we announce passing on to glory of Mary Njeri Baiya of Olive-inn, Kiamunyi – Nakuru County, that occurred on 23/10/2022.

Daughter of the late Njoroge wa Mwathi and the late Wataro wa Njoroge. Wife of the late George Baiya Waithiru. Co-wife of the late Penis Nduta Baiya. Mother of the late Samuel Waithiru, Grace Wamweru, Hon. Njoroge Baiya (Former MP Githunguri), Lucy Wataro, Joyce Wanjiku, Michael Muhoro and Josephine Wangari, Nathaniel Mwicigi, Stephen Waithiru, Francis Muhoro, Ruth Wangari, the late Tabitha Muthoni, Harun Njenga, Edith Wamaitha, FCPA David Mburu, Mary Mumbi, Simon Ndung’u and Prof. Evanson Gathura.

Mother-in-law to Ann Waithiru, Bernard Kiarie, Jane Njoroge, the late Geoffrey Chege, David Macharia and Naomi Muhoro.

Sister to George Gaturu, Jeremiah Kinyanjui and many others. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Meetings are held daily at her home in Olive-inn, Kiamunyi, starting 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Funeral Home – Nakuru, on Friday, 28/10/2022 at 8:00 am for funeral service at PCEA Mwangaza, Olive-inn Kiamunyi Nakuru, at 10:30am. Burial will be held thereafter at her family home in Olive-inn, Kiamunyi.
