The family wishes to announce the death of Mary Njeri Ndungu of Mshomoroni Mombasa, which occurred on Thursday 1811112021, in Nairobi at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Daughter of the late Ephraim Chege Wanyeki and Loice Wanjiku Chege. Daughter-in-law of Paul Kamanga Mukonyoro and Zipporah Waceke Kamanga. Wife of Joseph Ndung’u Njoroge. Sister to Ali Wanyeki Chege. Mother to Ebrahim Wainaina, Florence Waceke, Paul Njoroge, Stephen Wanyeki, Loice Wanjiku and Antony Mwangi. Mother-in-law to Mary Wambui, Elvis Aluoch, Margaret Waithera and Joel Ngigi

Sister in-law to Ann Waithera, Fredrick Kuria, Ruth Wakonyo, Stephen Mbugua, EmeIda Atieno, Zuhura Said and Jamila Omoga. Grandmother to Calvin Mwaniki, Lindsey Mwaniki, Quincy Njeri, Cayrah Waitherero, Teadorah Wainaina, Tanniese Njeri, Terence Ndung’u, Blessing Wambui and Christian Ndung’u. She is an aunt to Ibrahim Okebe, Warda Wanjiku, Sofia Njeri, Ebrahim Chege and Jamal Chege.

Friends and family are meeting at her home in Mshomoroni for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Jocham Hospital Mortuary, on Saturday, 27/11/2021, at 7.00am. Prayers and Church Service will follow at her home in Mshomoroni and burial will take place at Mbaraki Cemetery – Mombasa Town, where she will be laid to rest.
