Daughter to the late James Kaigwa and the late Joyce Wambui. Loving wife to the late Duncan Wanjohi Mathenge of Nyeri. Mother to H.E. Ambassador and First Lady Nyandarua County Mrs. Ann Thuita Kimemia, Caroline Wanjohi of Rosslyn Academy, Emily Nyambura Kariuki and Anthony Wanjohi.

Mother-In-law to H.E. Governor Francis T. Kimemia EGH, CBS Nyandarua County and Samuel Kariuki of EABL.

Sister to the late Titus Waithaka, Alice Njoki Gichuhi and Rose Wangui Kaigwa. Grandmother to Joe, Ben, Dr. Maria, Abraham, Sarah, Dave, Njeri, Kevin, Teresa, Alphonsus, Edward, Ian, Sharon, Joy, Nicole, Ashley, Hailey and Ken.

The cortege leaves K.U. Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday 28/10/2021 for Kiamuiru, Nyeri.
