MARY NJOKI GICHURU

It is with deep regret and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our loving mother, Mary Njoki Gichuru of Bella Hill Thogoto, Kikuyu Sub-County, Kiambu County.

She was a loving wife to the late Duncan Gichuru Kienjeku. Devoted and loving mother to Grace Njeri, Rose Wambui and Jedidah Njambi Boro.

Sister to the late Lee Ngugi Muiruri, Ruth Kagwe, the late Annah Ndungu, Margaret Wanjiku, Joan Wangui and Serah Kegeri.

Sister-in-law to Dorcas Wangari, David Mbirwa, Geoffrey Kinyanjui, Jjedidah Njambi and Mary Wanjiru.

Grandmother to Duncan & Joyce Gichuru, Medline Gathoni, Charles & Caroline Gichuru, Mary Wanjiru, Joseph & Maryann Kamau and Chrispus & Cynthia Ngure. She was a great grandmother to 6, cousin and aunt to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Bella Hill Close, Thogoto from 3.00 p.m.

The cortege leaves PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 9 January 2024 at 9.00 am for a funeral service at PCEA Church of the Torch and thereafter burial at her Thimu Igiri farm in Thogoto.
