MARY NYANCHOKA BWOMBUNA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mary Nyanchoka Bwombuna (formerly of Telkom Kenya, Eldoret) that occurred on 19th August 2024 at Lang’ata Hospital following a long illness valiantly borne.

The late Mary was the loving wife of Peter Oroko Bwombuna (former Chairman of Hazina Sacco); mother of Emily Kwamboka (Aga Khan University Hospital) & Dr Brian Nyakina (Scan Lab Center, Nakuru); mother-in-law of Bernard Nyagaka (National Treasury, Nairobi) & Dr Beatrice Omari (Consultant Physician, Nakuru); doting grandmother of Ryan, Timona, Andrew, Kelly & Samara.

Daughter of the late Mzee Enock Mogaka Onsanya & the late Mama Hellen Kemunto; daughter-in-law of the late Simeon Oroko & the late Clemensia Nyomenda; dear sister of Matara, Nyaanga, Jogoo, Prisca (USA), Samson, Harun, Robert, Grace & Shem.

Sister-in-law of Rosalia, Pauline (USA), Lucy, Gladys, the late Pacifica, Fred, & the late Jackline.

Korera of the Obino’s & Omari’s. Cousin, aunt, in-law, mentor and friend of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Nkoroi, Ongata Rongai (next to Whitehouse flats) for prayers, support and internment arrangements.

Contributions to defray medical expenses and funeral costs to give mama a befitting sendoff may be channeled through Bernard Nyagaka (Tel-0720877040).

The cortege will leave Monalisa & Montezuma Funeral Home on Sunday, 25th August 2024 at 8:00 AM for the burial ceremony to be held at the family home in Oasis Farm, Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county on Monday, 26th August, 2024.
