MARY WANJIRU MAINGI

1965 – 2021

It is deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mary Wanjiru Maingi, which occurred on 3rd of August, 2021, at Kenyatta University and Referral Hospital after a short illness.

Daughter of the late David Ngugi and Martha Wanjiku. Wife of Joseph Maingi. Sister of the late Margret Njeri, the late Lucy Wairimu, Naomi Wakanyi, Murigi Jane Waithera and Nancy Njoroge. Mother of Margret Wairimu, Susan Waniiku, Veronica Wanjiku, Francis Njoroge and Lucy Wairimu. Grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday 11th of August 2021. Church Service will be hold at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church Kanunga. Burial will Proceed at her husband’s home at Kanunga, near St. John Kanunga High School.
