MATRIACH HELINA WAMBUI THUO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Matriach Helina Wambui Thuo which occurred on 9th February 2021.

Wife of the late Isaac Thuo Ngari. Daughter of the late Gitahi Chacha (Kagwanja) and the late Lucy Wanjeri Gitahi. Mother of Lucy Wanjeri and Paul Gathogo (Solai Nakuru), the late Jacob Ngari Thuo and Grace Muthoni (Kihoya), John Gitahi Thuo and Nancy Muthoni (O’ngata Rongai) Paul Githenya Thuo and Grace Wangechi (Nyeri), Simon Kagwanja Thuo and Lucy Kagwanja (Neoplan Kenya, Nairobi), Gerald Iregi Thuo and Esther lregi (Kirinyaga), Mary Wangari Thuo and David Muigai (Magic Stores Hardware O’ngata Rongai). Sister of Kamau Gitahi (Ngondi-Naivasha), the late Kagwanja (chacha), the late Kaai, the late Wachinga, and the late Muraguri. Sister-in-law of the late Dorcas Wambui Muraya, the late Leah Wanjiru Ndugi, the late Alice Wanjira Mutonyi,Teresa Wangui Gitahi and Prisca Magiri Macharia.A grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends will meet at All Saints Cathedral Church on Friday 12th February 2021 and on Monday 15th February 2021 from 5.30pm. Other meetings take place daily at Silvermine Hotel (Accra Road) and at her home in Kihoya Kangema.

The cortege leaves Montenzuma Funeral Home – Thika Road (Kabati), on Wednesday 17th February, 2021, at 8.00am for a burial service at ACK St. Barnabas Church Kihoya. Thereafter, the late Helina Wambui Thuo will be buried at her home in Kihoya Village, Kangema-Muranga.
