MATRIARCH EVA KANINI MWANZA

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of our matriarch Eva Kanini Mwanza on 26th June 2021.

She was the beloved wife of Cosmas Mwanza. The loving mother of Sadiq Mwanza, Tom Mwanza, the late Robert Mwanza, Judy Mwende Nzioki, Rosemary Akeya & Moses Mwanza. Sister to the late Sammy Muli, Harrison Mutiso, Eric Mutinda & Naomi Ngui. Sister in-law to Philomena Mbuvi, Naomi Mwaki & Patricia Kimeu, PhiIlis Mutiso, John Ngui & Zipporah Mutinda. Mother in-law to Karen Mwanza, John Chege & Kevin Akeya Nyanchoka. Grandmother to Zachary Mwanza, Claudia Chege, Fauziah Mwanza. Nadia Mwanza, Saad Mwanza, Kanana Mwanza and Ethan Chege. Aunty and Cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting at the Mwanza’s residence in South B for prayers and funeral arrangements everyday from 4 00pm to S.30pm.

A memorial service will be held on Friday 2nd July 2021 at 11.00am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, South B.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Tuesday 6th July 2021 at 6 30am for a Funeral Mass and burial proceedings at our home in Kyamathiaka Village, Mulutu Sub-location, Changwithya West Location, Kitui County. We will strictly adhere to the set GOK Covid guidelines on funeral participation numbers, kindly bear us. We will provide a livestream link where everyone can follow the proceedings
