It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden transition of Maurice Otunga Omosa of the Kisii County Government.

Son of Mama Jane and the late Mzee Peter Omosa Simba. Step-son of Mama Rufina. Brother to Claire Kemuma, Dr. Lillian Zippora, the late Tom Morangi, the late George Morara, Gloria Kwamboka, the late Prof. Mary Orina, Dr. Florence Omosa, Dr. Gloria Manyonyi, Dr. Eileen Kwamboka, Oliver Morangi, Josephine Moraa, the late Julius Morara, and Donisius Nyamweya.

Grandson to Philomena, the late Paustina Moraa, Joseph Simba Morangi, Spora Navuri, Peter Kidesi, and Kerubo.

Nephew to Nyatichi, Mokeira, Ondieki, Grace, Agnes, Morangi, Jackline, Stella, Kariuki, the late Maria Oinga, Omenge, Nyamokami, Maria Omayio,Tom Mboya, the Nyambegeras and Ondiekis among many. Uncle and cousin to many.

Brother-in-law to Kepha Nunda, Kepha Makori and Kemuma Ondaba, among others.

The funeral service will be held on Friday 11th November 2022 from 9:30am in Mosocho, Kisii thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his home.
