MELISSA MAKENA JEPKOSGEI MWENDA AND PATRICIA MWENDE JEPKOECH MWENDA

In humble acceptance of God’s will, we anounce the untimely demise of Melissa Makena Jepkosgei Mwenda and Patricia Mwende Jepkoech Mwenda beloved daughters, of Hon. Ali Mwenda Murungi (Deputy Speaker-Meru County Assembly and MCA, Njia ward) & Mrs. Immaculate Jepkorir Cheboi-Mwenda (MOH) through a tragic road accident on 2/04/2024.

Sisters of Rita Mukami Chemutai (St. Clare High School – Nakuru) & Glory Kaari (Kanjalu Girls High School).

Granddaughters of: Mr. Ali Murungi & Mrs. Koolo Ali; and Mr. Solomon Kitum & Mrs. Salome Cheboi.

Nieces of Timothy, Isaiah (TSC), Kirimi, Nkatha (Angels Health Services – Maua) Pst. Mwongela (Unity SACCO – Meru), late Mwiti, Jepkemoi Cheboi (MOH), Cherop (Ministry of Interior), Cherono (County Government of Nakuru), Kibiwott (TSC), Kimengich (Absa Bank) & Kipkoech (Kenya Police).

They were doting cousins to many.

Funeral planning meetings are going on daily at 6.00pm at: Sunstar Hotel, Ruaraka, Thika Road; Nyambene Hills Hotel, Maua; and at their Gitwamwari village Home.

Requiem services will be held on 16th April 2024, 12 noon at Ruaraka MCK Church, Nairobi & at St Joseph MCK, Maua on 18 th April 2024, 12 noon followed by fundraisers to aid with the funeral and hospital expenses.

The funeral service will be held at Thamare Pry Sch grounds- Meru County, Igembe Central, Njia Ward on 20th April 2024 starting at 9.00am followed by burial rites at their Gitwamwari village home.
