MICHAEL IBONGO KIRUGI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Michael Ibongo Kirugi on 10th January, 2021 following a long illness bravely fought.

Son of the late Moses Kirugi Gikanea and the fate Njeri Kirugi.

Loving husband to Nancy Nyambura Ibongo. Father to Nicholas Kirugi, Irene Njeri, Diana Wanjiru, Ambrose Kimani and John Lewis Mbiyu.

Brother to Hannah Wanjiku Wangai, Lucia Mugure Mbatia, Agatha Wanjiru Kimani, John Gikang’a Kirugi and the late Peter Karomo Kirugi.

Father in law to Jamal Anthony Watts, Joyce Waithira and Beth Wangui.

Son in law to the late Lincoln Kimani Njuguna and the late Jane Wanjiri Kimani.

Grandfather to Ashley Nyambura , Alison Wanja, Nathan Ibongo, Jabari Ibongo, Naima Nyambura, Samara Mueni and Halley Nyambura. Friend, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, Grandfather and Great grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ting’ang’a, Kiambu County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral home on Friday 22nd January, 2021 at 9am followed by funeral mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Ting’ang’a parish, at 10:30am.

You have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and Perpetual light shine upon you, may you rest in Eternal Peace. Amen.
