It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Michael Koikai Ole Tanchu which occurred on Saturday 16th May 2020 at the Aga Khan University Hospital.

Son of the late Nelson Gisa Tanchu and the late Margaret Noonkunono Tanchu. Husband of the late Grace Yiamoi and Joyce Sintora. Brother of the late Nemayian Leenko, Grace Kogo, Teresia Kapario, the late Peter Rotiken, Benjamin Maison, Pauline Kinywa, Joyce Katampoi, Irene Kapante, the late Rafael Soyiantet and Jane Namunyak.

Father of Jacque Siyionte, Judy Naisoi, Timothy Letina, Jonathan Lengone, Kenneth Kores, Martin Malit, Nelson Meitiaki, Melton Melita, Edwin Kosen and Joy Saina. Father in law of David Marasua, Patricia Kathurima, Cynthia Lemita, Deborah Siyiapey and Joyce Maweu.

Grandfather of Ian, Tony, Leshan, Sharon, Jamal, Morgan, Gabriel, Oninioi, Odupoi, Nemayian and Yiamoi. Great grandfather of Noah and Fredrick. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

The Cortege will leave the Aga Khan University Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 23rd May at 7a.m for burial at his farm in Maparasha, Kajiado County.

As we celebrate his life, we are thankful to God for the lives that he touched. May his soul rest in peace.
