It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved Milka Muthoni Warui Kariuki on the 7th of May, 2023 after an illness bravely borne.
Wife to the late Mathew Kariuki Gakuo of Egerton, Njoro.
Daughter of Margaret Wairimu Warui and Stephen Warui.
Devoted mother to Jane Njambi, Peter Njogu and Tupac Warui.
Sister to Veronica Wanjiru, Peter Ng’ang’a, the late Francis Mwangi, Grace Waruguru and Joyce Njoki. Daughter-in-law to the late Evan and Eunice Gakuo.
Sister-in-law to Stephen Kibuga, Mary Kuchio, Lynette Kibisu, Stephanie Ngonyo, Simon Kagema and Peter Munene and the late Elizabeth Wanjira and Jacinta Wambui.
Family and friends are meeting at their family home, Green Valley Estate, Egerton, Njoro and Kiambagathi, Kirinyaga.
A requiem mass will be held on Friday, 12th May 2023 commencing at 5.00p.m. at her residence.
The cortege leaves Egerton University Funeral Home in Njoro for funeral service and burial at the Gakuo family home in Kiambagathi Village, Mukure, Kirinyaga County on Tuesday, 16th May at 10.00a.m.
