MILLICENT ATIENO CHECHE KACHIENG’A

It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely death of Mrs Millicent Atieno Cheche Kachieng’a on the 5th of August 2024 in Pretoria, South Africa.

She was the daughter of the late Mr Silvano Migott Cheche, the late Mrs Nancy Grace Adera and Mrs Sylivia Cheche and Syprose Adhiambo Cheche from Kasimori Village, Kombewa Seme, Kisumu County, Kenya.

She was the wife of the late Prof. Michael Ogembo Kachieng’a and together they were blessed with two daughters Paskaliah Muga and Adera Nancy Kachieng’a.

Beloved sister of Phyllis Cheche, Phoebe Orony, Victor Nyawanda Cheche, Olaly Cheche, Marcus Cheche, Emily Cheche, and Grace Cheche.

She was the daughter-in-law of the late Mr Francis Kachieng’a Odero, Paskaliah Muga, and Rose Aludo Kachieng’a. Sister in-law of Joyce, Odero, the late Okeyo, Atieno, Anna, Adhiambo, Owaga, Adhiambo, Coni, Bernard, Otieno, Leonard, Akoth, Maureen, Isdorine, Evance, and many more.

She was also a loving auntie to many nieces and nephews across the world.

Her Requiem mass will be held in St. Pauls Chapel, Nairobi on the 15th of August 2024 at 11.00am.

She will be buried at her home in Unga Sub-location, Ndhiwa Sub- County, Homabay County on the 17th August 2024.
